Controller: Yael Foundation, a company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus with registration number ΛΕΜ|I|16, and whose registered office is at Lazarou Kountourioti 9, Flat 501, 3106 Limassol, Cyprus (“Yael Foundation”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By submitting your information through this form and clicking “I agree,” you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

Acceptance constitutes explicit consent to the collection and use of your personal data, including for future communications as described below.

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms govern your participation in any Yael Foundation initiative, nomination process, registration, or related activity (collectively, “Programs”).
1.2 By completing this form and confirming consent, you enter into a binding agreement with the Yael Foundation under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
1.3 These Terms also serve as our Privacy Notice, explaining how we collect, process, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”) and the Cyprus Data Protection Law 125(I)/2018.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 We collect only the personal data you voluntarily provide, which may include:

• your name;
• your email address; and
• your telephone number.

3. Purpose of Processing

3.1 Your data is collected and processed for the following purposes:
a. to manage and administer your participation in Yael Foundation Programs;
b. to communicate with you regarding such Programs or related administrative matters; and
c. to contact you from time to time about other Yael Foundation activities, events, or initiatives which may be of interest to you.
3.2 The provision of your data is voluntary; however, submission of the form without accepting these Terms will not be possible.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

4.1 Processing of your personal data is based on:
a. your explicit consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by selecting the checkbox and submitting the form; and
b. where applicable, our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in furthering the Yael Foundation’s charitable and educational objectives.
4.2 You may withdraw your consent at any time in accordance with Clause 10.

5. Marketing Communications

5.1 By accepting these Terms, you consent to receive occasional communications from the Yael Foundation regarding its Programs, events, initiatives, or opportunities.
5.2 You may withdraw this consent at any time by sending an email to office@yaelfoundation.org  requesting to unsubscribe, or by replying to any communication with the words “unsubscribe.”
5.3 Upon receipt of your request, we will cease all further promotional contact within a reasonable period, in accordance with GDPR requirements.

6. Data Retention

6.1 We will retain your personal data for as long as it remains necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in Clause 3, or for as long as permitted or required by applicable law.
6.2 Where you withdraw consent, we will retain only such limited data as necessary to demonstrate compliance with legal obligations or to ensure suppression of further contact.

7. Data Transfers

7.1 Your data may be processed or stored on secure servers located in Cyprus or in other jurisdictions, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
7.2 In all cases, we implement appropriate safeguards—such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent measures—to ensure that your data receives an adequate level of protection consistent with GDPR standards.

8.1 We maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.
8.2 Access to personal data is restricted to authorised Yael Foundation personnel and trusted processors under written contractual obligations of confidentiality.

9.1 If this form or related content is hosted on our website, we may use cookies or similar technologies to ensure functionality, improve user experience, and collect anonymous analytics.

11.1 This form is intended for individuals aged 16 and above.
11.2 If you are under 16, please obtain parental or guardian consent before providing any personal information.

11. Disclosure to Third Parties

11.1 We do not sell, lease, or trade your personal data.
11.2 We may share data with trusted service providers acting as processors on our behalf, solely for administrative, hosting, or communication purposes, under written agreements ensuring GDPR compliance.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

12.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
12.2 Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.

13. No Limitation of Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to you under the GDPR, Cyprus Data Protection Law 125(I)/2018, or other applicable data-protection legislation.

14. Updates to These Terms

14.1 We may update or amend these Terms from time to time to reflect legal or operational changes.
14.2 The revised version will be posted on our website or otherwise made available prior to taking effect. Continued participation in our Programs after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
